Furrpocalypse Wiki

Summary[]

The Easterners, also known as Redrockers, is a surviving faction lead by a man simply known as Rogue in the east side of America, specifically Pennsylvania. The Easterners straggles on as they remain hidden from the constant hordes of furries that search for food and free kills. Rogue's resistance survives on supplies scattered across the state that allows the Eastern Headhunters to hold down the fort. They live in a society with brutal, yet justified codes: "You hit first, we hit back. Hard enough to make you regret". The Easterners states their brutality by keeping furry skin rugs, being openly hostile to any unwelcome guests, and setting fire to nests and caves of the furries without mercy, regret, or pity.

Uprisings[]

Vestrol Town, the Keystone Resistance's home.

In the late months of 2027, Pennsylvania was in shambles from the furry apocalypse. Those who had survived were either saddened or enraged of the destruction of their home state. Those who loathed their losses had banded together under a man simply known as Rogue and formed a civilization of their own, whereas those who mourned were thought of as weak, and sent away with marginal arms for safe travel. With a border of poles with skewered furries, this had signified the forming of the Easterners and Redrock Town, the first civilization of the newfound nation.

There was much effort put into building the town: Walls aplenty, with one, heavily guarded official entry into the town. A tower stands in the center of town with the intent on being a watchtower and an equivalent to a mayor's office.

Society and Culture[]

Agressive Lifestyles[]

The environment around the Easterners had a heavy impact on the society and as a result made the citizens of Redrock Town naturally aggressive. Citizens 11 and under were taught by elders to keep their guard up at all times, 12 year olds were trained to use weapons of all sorts for 3 years until they reached age 15, where they would kill their first furry in the Trial of Worth, usually an ill or infant or any other less threatening creature. When a person completes their Trial of Worth they offered, and even encouraged to enlist into hunting parties of 10 that would toughen them up even harder than they already were: The Headhunters do not supply for the weak, for they believe that a lack of effort gains nothing.

To keep Redrock Town's members tough when not risking their lives for supplies, anyone who's completed their Trial of Worth could partake in armed gladitorial games to establish social hierarchy in the society. Participants of this game would usually be resistance hunting party members facing off against each other and the victors of these games become, or hold on to, the title of hunting party leader.

Passive Lifestyles[]

As much as the Easterners emphasize taking down the creatures that had tormented their homeland, they still did have outliers that were suprisingly respected if their actions sufficed: There were scientists and doctor and other professions that had managed to benefit the Easterners without inflicting harm on another life. The most favored of these were farmers, who are suprisingly skilled at making sure the crops grew even in harsh weather from an unknown source.

Weapons and Tactics[]

When it comes to warding off the furpocalypse, the Easterners do not mess around. The fighters love to get their hands dirty in combat, they like to feel the effort of cutting through a furry to make themselves more secure about whether they kill their targets or not, a result of their paranoia. The former does not mean that they are reluctant to use guns, but they only use them in times where they can't reach their target or when the enemy is too dangerous to take on up close: They may be brutal warriors of the wastelands, but they are not ignorant.

Hunting parties usually consist of 10 people and sometimes band together with other ally hunting parties to bring down bigger targets. They tend to carry blades of any sort as well as firearms. They mobilize in modified roofed vehicles to avoid Dutch Angel Dragon attacks as well as normal furries. To take on bigger creatures like Primagen, they deploy multiple heavily armed vehicles, spreading out to overwhelm the big target.

The Easterners also likes to use fire a lot during their hunts. They had found these tools to be highly effective against the furries because... well, they're furry.

Trivia[]

  • While the Easterners have been believed to be neutral to other survivors, it is unconfirmed about their views on other groups.
  • Members who are too old or are injured into handicap are known to care for young members of the clan, though this does not prevent them from using firearms to protect the young members and themselves.
  • While furry skin rugs are commonly seen in houses of the east coast inhabitants, members also wear the fur as woolfells.
  • Redrock Town is highly guarded by heavy artillery seen in the outer area of the town.
  • They are the equal to the Pheonix Ash Mecenary Core, seen in the main timeline.
  • Civil conflicts within the town have not been unheard of; One incident had been recorded of an unknown gang leader accusing Rogue, the leader of the Easterners, of being insane, which had been clarified to simply be Rogue's anger to the furries in the apocalypse.
  • While the Redrockers always keep their guard up for most of the year, they have their exceptions: They celebrate the basic average holidays at home, albeit with a lack of supplies, and also celebrate a holiday of their own, Iméra epanexisorrópisis, or Rebalancing Day, which celebrates the founding of Redrock Town.
